**Job Title: Project Engineer**

**Location:** Home Office - Toronto

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and project management abilities to oversee engineering projects from initiation through to execution and completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all project requirements, deadlines, and budgets are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Project Planning & Coordination:**
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within specifications.

- **Technical Oversight:**
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, calculations, and reports.

- **Communication:**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate meetings and provide updates on project status, potential issues, and risk management strategies.

- **Problem Solving:**
- Identify project challenges and provide effective solutions, ensuring project success.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to accommodate delays or changes.

- **Quality Assurance:**
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections and testing to verify the quality of work and materials.

- **Documentation:**
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including correspondence, contracts, and reports.
- Prepare and submit all necessary project documentation for regulatory approvals.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction practices, and regulatory requirements.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
